Cricnfo Fantasy Cricket Championship
So 5 games down & many more to go & some important coming up soon. This is a junction that is good to reflect at where we are with our Championship. One of the shockers that we have recently felt is the 'retirement' of Felix (one of our Mods & an orginal member of the chmapionship). We will be missing him quit-a-lot & hoping he returns soon. The Ashes is the longest Fantasy Game that has been played in our 2 seasons of the championship. It at times has taken a toll on some of the members (me first). In this kind of a long game it is hard to figure out an strategy & play by it all along. The next game up will be the short one of SL Tri-Series (confirmed) which will set us up for the Champions Trophy. Most of the teams are announced & in a corner remains the problems of WI cricket (god help them...).
Cricnfo Fantasy Cricket Team Championship
So here the overhaul is all set to go into a trial run with the comence of Eng-Aus ODI series. This is something you want to keep an eye on in the very near future. It is going to become a more of a team game & active imvolvement will be required from all members for their respective teams. Hopefully this trial run will furhter clear things up & also help us out if any changes are needed. Currently Toe CRushers are leading the way but, after the Aus in Eng game the rankings should change up a bit...
OCT - Main League & Plate League
Well, what to say about this? Seems that OCT has become the centre of attention for many if not all. It has sucked us right in, but I'm not sure if it is acting in the interst of our Championship. One of the main changes needed will be 'different teams for Championship than any other!'. The Main League is laging way behing in the OCT while I understand that the Plate League is doing preety good. If only we could exchange the two! lol :D Hopefully the Main League will the rising in the ranks soon with the ODIs & T20s left to go... Suggestions for strtagies are welcomed from all community members, whether they are a part of OCT or not, either in Plate Leagu or the Main League.

In the past all members used to post regularly, engage in conversations & share their thoughts. At times the community feels as if it is in hibernation & there is no such thing in the dictionary of Cricinfo Fantasy Cricket! Lets get back rolling & keep this community fresh & blooming! COME ON!!!! :P

ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I did put some actual thought behind this post! - Ha ha -
ReplyDeleteWell i feel the other games are taking more time of some of the members so they not that enthu abt CFC i feel.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure how far the team game will be successful. Else the CFCC is running fine and even the teams in that is quite good.
CFCC is good, CFCTC is good. CFCTC new trial basis team game am not sure of it. (Just my opinion)
Needless to say, Good Job by you as always.
I still feel tat CFCTC is not played as a team game.. its jus played as a individual game.. few ppl r nt interested in team games.. so i feel its upto u ppl to decide abt it..
ReplyDeletemy suggestion wuld b pick the 1ly the players interested in Team games and put thm in teams and play te game.. evn 3 teams wuld b fine a tri series will do.. but having 4 teams n dummy players is of no use.. this is my thought abt the new format of CFCTC..
absolutely right arvind, nobody is intrested in team games if it is run throughout the year everybody is just taking it as either an individual game or are being dummy players.mt team has 4 members and i am the one managing their teams.thats it.we will certainly have discussions of it's future soon
ReplyDeletek PRABHJIT.. try to have sum reg for the Team games and mak teams according to it.. and v can hav team games for selected tournaments so tat v dont hav a overdose of it..
