Ashes
England sealed the deal in a very close match that came down to Time Left! Ausies were able to get the early wickets and that continued throughout the day. The only solid innings was from Collingwood whos presence the Ausies could have done away with. Regular wickets always kept the scenerio of a victory for the visiting side in the fray. But a brilliant resiliant innings from Collingwood, coupled with some determined batting from Panesar & Anderson ensured a very crucial draw for England.

It certainly turned out to be a very important match in line with the CFC Championship, as it was a great point scoring opportunity. Many players were not able to gether points due to selection problems. While others engulfed huge sum & are also peaping into the Overall CFC Leader charts.

To no extent has test lost its charm & is boring. Matches like thses prove that its still all very exiting & much more.

2nd Test Starts from July 16, at Lords.

Sri v Pak 2nd Test (day 1)
It was a crazy start to the second test were after electing to bat first Pakistan were reduced to a mere score of 90 for 10. Srilanka at the days end seem to have the most of their wonderful start and the Captain leading from the front in the battin department put together 164 for 3 which gave them a lead of just under 75 runs. There is much more play to go, but Pak needs to get their acts together and attack Srilanka.

In context to the CFC Championship, one shinning point is that of Aravind. He has made the right moves by selecting appropriate players as well as the Trump. With Sangakara his trump he has a total of 2136 & is ranked 3rd Overall! Other than that the high scoring members will be hoping to keep their leads after a bad start (as many had Pak TPs & else). This could be a good opportunity for the players ranked low to catch up to the leaders & close in the gap.

2nd Test continues on till July 16.

Ban v WI 1st Test (day 4)
Bangladesh have put together a lead of 250+ runs and are now in the commanding seat. With 5 more wickets in hand & a whole day's play yet to go, a result is very possible. Ban should pounce onto this amazing opportunity and try to put this game to bed!
