Bangladesh WINS!
Bangladesh registered a historic win in the 1st Test agaist the WI. The spinners stepped up to the plate and sealed the deal for them. Tamim Iqbal was awarded the MOM, but in my opinion the real Match WInner for Ban was Mahmudullah. He grabed a total of 8 (3+5) wickets & helped the team cruise home. Their effort was surely helped by the point that WI is playing with a 2nd Tier team, but a Win is a WIN!
2nd Test starts from July 17, at St. George's.
Sri Lanka do not Capitalize...
Sri Lanka had a great opportunity to seal the deal (draw or Win for Sri) for this test, but they did not capitalize on the oportunity. Other than Sangakara is was again a dismal batting performance. 1st inning has been ugly for both the batting line ups. In the second, Fawad Alam has made sure his team is not out of the test by scoring 100+ runs (still N.O. when post made). It will be interesting to see if they put together a Big lead or crumble away as has been the trend...
2nd Test continues on till July 16.
