England has the Lead!
Afetr 3days of play, England have demonstrated great batting and put together a mamonth lead of 521-6. At the start of the 4th day they will still have 4wickets in hand, where they can either choose to close out the Aussies by ensuring a Draw (atleast) and then pursue a victory OR put up a score of around 600 & let the opposition chase it or bat it out or try taking all their wickets. If the Aussies do get to the end of the day without loosing more than 2wickets & scoring around 250 runs, they could be in with a chance.
On the Fantasy Cricket front, in the OCT (which has been a center of attention for this game) main league team is not faring all that well whereas in the Plate league the team is doing grood & is actually lead 3rdDay in scoring. In the CFC front, its been a bit cold but the battle is still on! Jeet, Shiva, Mohit & else are all fighting for the top spot. People are gethering points on specific players for Bonuses. This is just the second test & this game (tournament) has already turned ot to be a stunner!
2nd Test continues till July 20.
Windies peep Ahead!?
On the stumps of just the second day of play, we have already seen two complete innings & it is surely showing no signs of slowing down. This test is certainly headed for a result. After 2days of play WI have managed a small margine lead which they will be hoping to capitalize on during the 3rd day's play. They will have to play safe & don't let too many wickets away as there is way too much time remaining in this test to be in any hurry. A win for Bangladesh here would ensure a Series win (their first) where as a win for WI will result in a Drawn series.
